Aircraft Base Maintenance
“Standing on the shoulders of giants”

Aircraft Base Maintenance has been carried out in the Dublin Aerospace facility for over 50 years and this experience has not gone to waste on the current employees.

Utilising Lean principles, we have streamlined processes within base maintenance allowing us to minimise down time and maximise availability of aircraft to our customers. By applying 5S housekeeping to the workplace, we have also ensured that the work on your aircraft is carried out in a more simplified, clutter free and safer environment. Including our support staff in the direct operational team we guarantee focus is maintained on critical areas such as planning, materials and budget. Combined with this, long term relationships with OEMs ensure that availability of core material is maximised. Increasing effectiveness in this way, has brought about a major improvement in productivity and reduced costs.

The upturn of this is that our customers are now being offered one of the most competitive man hour rates in the market place.

Dublin Aerospace offers Base Maintenance capability on both Boeing and Airbus narrow body and wide body aircraft including Boeing 737, 747, 767 and Airbus A318, A319, A320, A330 and A340 series of aircraft. Our primary focus is on the A320 family of aircraft where we aim to become the provider of choice.

The services we offer include A Checks, C1 to C8 Checks, Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins, structural, cabin and wing upgrades and IFE modifications. We currently hold approvals from many authorities including EASA Part-145, FAA CFR-145, EASA Part-21, EASA Part-147, JAA JAR-147 and CAAC Part-147.
