Dublin Aerospace is a Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO) based in Dublin, Ireland specialising in Airbus A320 / A330 and Boeing 737 series aircraft, Landing Gear and APU overhaul. We are a leading player in the MRO market in Europe and have established ourselves as a high quality, reliable service provider.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate in HR to join the HR Department on a permanent basis. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this role will be based at Dublin Airport but there will be some travel required to a second site in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Core System – Maintain and Update the HRIS system. Input/update information for all staff members/contractors. Close off core every week, double check hours (reasons for leave, A/L etc.), generate weekly reports
  • Supports & provides administration and reporting of the Payroll and pension functions.
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties – Draft reports, stationery orders, uniform orders, organise travel & accommodation.
  • New  Starters – Ensure all new joiners have completed the relevant documentation and process the relevant forms as required, issue Dublin Aerospace ID cards to new staff;
  • Recruitment and Selection – Assist with the process, ensure applications database is updated, conduct background and reference checks;
  • Takes ownership of our 5 year background check process.
  • General HR Administration – Monitoring and tracking employee probationary periods, Ensure that all personnel files are kept up to date in compliance with GDPR and HR Database is updated with changes; process any forms (e.g. unpaid leave, expense forms etc.)
  • Contractor Timesheets – Collate, check and email timesheets to the various agencies on a monthly basis;
  • May be required to assist other areas with administration or similar duties when necessary (i.e. Training)
  • Core HRIS management and reporting when required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have successfully completed a third level degree (preferably in Human Resources) but will also be a highly energetic and motivated person who is looking to start a very exciting career in aviation.

  • Possess a HR qualification, (min level 6 and graduated in 2020/21/22/23);
  • Strong communication and organisational skills;
  • Strong administration skills;
  • Ability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated and flexible in their approach to work;
  • Strong IT Skills - particularly Microsoft Word, Excel;
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively;
  • Enjoys working with people and problem solving;

 

Essential Criteria

  • Be willing to undergo pre-employment medical.
  • Be willing to undergo Garda Vetting and 5 year background check.
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written.
  • Permission to live/work in Republic of Ireland unrestricted.
